Hey Class of 2025 – it’s almost time for the best night of the year! 🌟 Before we roll, here’s what you have to do:

No waiver = No trip.

Submit waiver online or get print copy from Ms. Orr in the Morse front office

Under 18? Parent/guardian needs to sign

🎒   Bag Drop is Mandatory!

Drop your bag off on Saturday, June 7 between 9-10 AM at the Morse Gym Doors

Bags will be securely stored overnight and returned to you upon arrival at Crabapple

1. No drugs, alcohol or weapons. Bags will be dog-sniffed and searched. If any illegal substances are found, the student and/or parents will be contacted to pick up the bag and the student will not be allowed to participate in the trip.
2. All prescribed medications must be packed in original packaging, labeled with student name, medication name and dosing instructions.
3. Label your bag with your name.
4. Small bags allowed on bus only if searched by chaperone before boarding.

Packing list:

  • Bathing suit and shorts (shorts help prevent chafing during rafting)

  • Sneakers or sandals with secure toe and ankle straps (flip flops not allowed)

  • Avoid cotton clothing – it cools the body when wet 

  • For feet: wool or fleece socks. 

  • For torso and legs: performance apparel (Dri Fit), wool, fleece, capilene, polypropylene.

  • Outer layer: Fleece and synthetics for extra warmth under wetsuits and wetsuit boots. Wind jackets and pants can be worn over wetsuits to shed water and add warmth. (Wetsuits and wetsuit boots provided. Life jackets also provided, chest size 58 inches.)

  • Sunscreen, toiletries

  • Change of clothes and shoes for after raft trip

  • Medications: Bring medications you may need–asthma inhaler, bee sting kit, etc.

  • Optional: Sleeping bag for some shut-eye in the quiet room during the all-nighter.

  • Optional: $$$$: CrabApple has a store to purchase apparel and souvenirs.

  • Optional: Small daypack or drawstring bag for hiking, water bottle etc.

Itinerary Project Grad 2025

Sunday June 8

  • 2pm graduation ceremony at McMann
  • 4:15pm Students board buses at Morse HS Main Entrance, leave at 4:30pm. Snacks on bus.
  • 7pm Arrive at CrabApple
  • 7-8p BBQ dinner on the deck
  • 8-10p Graduation party! Outdoor and indoor fun: Heated outdoor pool, volleyball, cornhole, bonfire. Inside: Board games, VR headset with rollercoasters, movies, billiards, karaoke, crafting. Quiet room downstairs.
  • 10p-1a DJ dance party on the deck. Midnight Pizza Party. Doors locked at 1am.
  • 1-3a Improv comedian. Candy, snacks, fruit.
  • 3-7a Up All Night party continues upstairs. Downstairs: sleeping/quiet area, shower & changing rooms.

Monday June 9:

  • 7am Breakfast in dining room
  • 830a Meet Rafting Trip
  • 930a Depart for Adventure: Raft the Kennebec, hike to Moxie Falls, fish nearby, or chill and play at base camp and swim in the heated outdoor pool.
  • 1p Adventurers return to CrabApple. Shower, swim, change into dry clothing.
  • 130p BBQ on deck  – steak, chicken, fish, vegetarian option.  Slide and Video show of raft trip.
  • 3pm Depart CrabApple
  • Arrive back at Morse HS ~5:45pm
